Something our organization is adamantly against is the breeding and selling of hybrid animals, whether they be Bengal or Savannah Cats, or Wolfdogs.
These animals are the result of Wild Cats (Servals, Asian Leopard Cat) or Wolves being bred with domestic cats and dogs.
We are against this for several reasons:
-The Wild Parents may not be kept in ideal situations, are used for breeding and profit, and often times given up or euthanized once the breeder is done with them. In many cases the wild cats may be declawed and defanged in an attempt to make them easier to handle.
-The offspring's temperaments are unpredictable, and often times the parents 'wild' behaviors come out such as aggression, and marking behaviors
-These common behavioral issues often result in the animal being given up or euthanized
-Many hybrids are prone to extremely severe, and very expensive medical conditions
-Wild animals deserve to be wild, by buying a hybrid you are supporting the abusive exotic pet trade

While our organization does not believe in buying hybrids, there are several thousand in constant need of rescue and adoption.
