Chinchi

Picture
Chinchi was the second chinchilla we took in after his brother Rune. Unfortunately just after we took Rune in he passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. Chinchi is a very sweet boy and loves kids. He and his brother were both bought as pets for a 9 year old girl. As often happens with exotics given to young children, she became disinterested over time. Eventually the parents decided they needed to be rehomed as they weren't getting any attention anymore. The young girl who owned them since they were babies, and for the last 3 years, did not even say goodbye to them when we picked them up. Chinchi however, loves little girls, as they are a reminder of his previous mom who he still misses.

This little male Chinchilla was part of a surprise litter from a families chin. They could not keep all of the babies and so we decided to take this little one in. Once he passed quarantine he was introduced to Chinchi. They were both ecstatic to have companionship, and have been living together in harmony since
